The author of the original database was Mrs. Charlette O. Parsons of Mtn. View, CA, USA,
shown with her husband, Mr. Robert B. Parsons, both are Native Californians.
Mrs. Parsons has spent over 50 years in its research and compilation, without the aid of
computers. Her works are compiled into 15 volumes of family history that are on file
at three major genealogical libraries in the United States: Sutro State Library in
San Francisco, CA, LDS Main Library in Salt Lake City, UT, and the Library of Congress in
Washington, DC. Without her firm foundation, the PFA's Master Database
could not have been possible.
The sole author of the Parsons Web Page and primary compiler of the Parsons Family
Association's Master Database is Mr. Gary A. Parsons of San Jose, CA,
USA. Gary is a, fourth generation, native Californian and holds a Masters Degree from
the School of Social Science, San Jose State University. Gary is married to Mrs.
